"Just the Job" again dominates the Liguilla Dos Estaciones of the Club de Vela Puerto de Andratx

After eight months of racing, the XXVII Liguilla Dos Estaciones of the Club de Vela Port D'Andratx came to an end this weekend.

As every year, the Club de Vela Port d'Andratx has organized different regattas for cruising boats as part of its famous Liguilla Dos Estaciones. A full calendar of social regattas that have been held from October 2023 until this May with different races to complete the eleven that make up this circuit.

This past weekend, the 18th and the 19th of May, the President's Trophy of the Club de Vela Puerto de Andratx took place, the tenth and eleventh races of the XXVII Liguilla Dos Estaciones. These last races, which bring the Liguilla Dos Estaciones to an end, were sailed in a round trip between the Club de Vela Port d' Andratx and the Real Club Náutico de Palma.

On Saturday, all the boats made their way to the Real Club Náutico de Palma where, in the evening, the club welcomed them with a dinner for all the crew members. On Sunday, all the boats made the return trip to the Club de Vela Port d'Andratx.

Scott Beattie's J97 "Just the Job" was proclaimed the winner of this President's Trophy in the ORC 0/4 division. It was accompanied on the podium by Silvia Cabrera's J80 "Just 4 Fun" and Pachi Rivero's "Calima".

In the ORC 5 division, the winner of the President's Trophy was Raúl Muñoz's "Andrea", which tied on points with Luís Portella's "Calm Days". Jaime Gonzalo Manso's "La Escandalosa" closed the podium in third place.

With these results, the final classification of the XXVII Liguilla Dos Estaciones and the winner of the season is "Just The Job", followed by "Just 4 Fun" and "Setebello" in ORC 0/4.

In ORC 5, "Calm Days" has won the first position, with the difference of one point with "Andrea", which has occupied the second place and the third, has been for the "Rocinante" of Robert Rauhöfer.
