The registration deadline for this 42nd edition closed on Saturday, June 15, with 122 boats registered. Teams have until Sunday, July 28, to complete their crew registrations. The organization plans to use this date for final registrations, sail measurements, and ratings, alongside the scheduled training sessions on the Bay of Palma racecourse until Monday, July 29.
The day before, on Saturday, July 27, the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Copa del Rey MAPFRE by authorities and sponsors will take place, serving as the "starting signal" for this 42nd edition. The event will also feature three social highlights: the owners' dinner at Castillo Hotel Son Vida on Tuesday, July 30, the MAPFRE white cocktail on the club terraces on Thursday, August 1, and the awards ceremony presided over by King Felipe on Saturday, August 3, at Ses Voltes, at the foot of the Palma Cathedral.
