Undoubtedly the Race Committee of the 57th Alicante Sailing Week managed to get ahead of a very complicated last day due to the absence of wind for much of the day, but the entry of a south that reached 12 knots served for the Race Committee to send the fleet to sea without time to lose and to start and complete a fifth race. Thus, with such narrow gaps in all classes, no one could afford any mistakes.

In the ILCA 4 class, the most numerous with 72 participants, the victory went to the sailor from the Reial Club Nàutic Port de Pollença Magdalena Villalonga, who gave no options. She was the comfortable leader going into the final day and a second place confirmed her as champion. Second and third place went to the sailors from CN Santa Pola, Víctor Selles and Pedro Adán.

In the ILCA 6 class, Francisco Mora dominated from start to finish, also winning the last race. Second was his teammate from RCR Alicante, Domingo Díaz.

The double class, 420, returned to Tiro de Pichón, where just six months ago the World Championship of this class was held. On this occasion, Fernando Puig and Kevin Lenis did the honors, with a thrilling finish with the local crew of Joaquín Valero and Guillermo Rodríguez (RCR Alicante), with whom they were tied on points. Puig and Lenis were able to hold off the challenge of Valero and Rodríguez, whoever finished ahead would take the Semana Náutica, finally the Jávea crew came second and the Alicante crew third, while the victory of the race went to Miguel Campos and Pablo Moreno (RCR Alicante/RCN Valencia), who in this way managed to climb to the third step of the podium. Carlota Gómez and Noor Said Karolewicz, fourth overall, won the trophy for first female crew.

It has been a Nautical Week where the weather conditions, very windy on Friday and very light on Sunday, have marked the outcome of the regatta, but the Race Committee, with Manel Lligé and Carlos Sardiña, were able to save with four races on Saturday and one on Sunday, over the time limit.
