On June 6, 7, and 8, the port of Mahón will host a qualifying event for the 2025 Spanish Cruiser Championship (RFEV).

The Balearic Sailing Federation has appointed the Mahón entity as the organizer of the event, which will take place on June 6, 7, and 8 and is expected to attract around forty boats. Additionally, the event counts towards the 2025 Spanish Cruiser Championship (RFEV) and is sponsored by the Fundació Foment del Turisme de Menorca, the Consell Insular de Menorca, the City Council of Mahón, and the Balearic Port Authority.
The excellent social and sporting moment that the Club Marítimo de Mahón is experiencing has been further evidenced by the awarding of the organization of the Balearic Cruiser Championship, which will fill the port of Mahón and the coast with a competition in which the Race Committee plans to have three races: one coastal and two Windward/Leeward.
This Mahón event is added as a qualifier for the Spanish Championship to the 54th SAR Princesa Sofía Trophy for Cruisers and the 15th Interclubs Trophy at Club Nàutic Colònia Sant Pere, which will be held on May 17.
The Balearic Cruiser Championship joins the organization by the club's canoeing section of the Balearic Winter Championship, which was a complete success and took place in front of the old maritime station, bringing the event as close as possible to the Mahón and Minorcan fans.
