Continuing with this round of institutional recognition, Malén Sart has now been received by the president of the Consell de Mallorca, Llorenç Galmés. The reception took place at the Consell de Mallorca itself and was attended by Balearic authorities.
Last September, the Mallorcan Malen Sart retained the title of underwater fishing world champion, in a competition that took place in Laredo, Cantabria. In this way, Sart managed to make history by winning the World Championship for the second year, a title she had already won in Sardinia in 2021, and by being the only woman to do so.
But it was not the only trophy that the Spanish champion added to her trophy cabinet, as in addition to the individual championship, Sart was proclaimed team winner with the Spanish team along with her teammates Isabel Arroyo and Yaiza Romero.
