Marcus Cooper recovers his medals

According to diario Ultimo Hora, the Guardia Civil of Felanitx, has arrested two criminals of Moroccan nationality who stole at the house of the Olympic paddler Marcus Cooper Walz.

Specifically, the criminals stole some of the medals that the Mallorcan paddler has won throughout his sporting career. According to sources consulted by the digital newspaper, the canoeist was very concerned about the theft, because of the sentimental value of these medals. After being informed of the recovery of these personal goals, Cooper is very grateful to the Guardia Civil, which has clarified the thefts of recent weeks in Felanitx.

According to judicial sources, this Thursday at dawn, the two thieves have been caught red-handed by the owner of a house, where they had entered to steal. The criminals managed to escape, but the Benemérita, in collaboration with the municipal police, found the suspects, who were taken to the barracks.

During the search of the apartment where they were hiding, numerous stolen items were recovered, including medals and frames stolen from the Cooper family home.
