Marina Port Valencia is optimizing its facilities and services with new renovations

Since Marina Port Valencia took over the concession last October, numerous improvements have been implemented with the goal of optimizing the facility and providing better service to customers and employees.

From the outset, the Marina Port Valencia team has focused on its greatest asset: its people. Therefore, the professional team has been strengthened to work with dedication to provide the best service and the best possible experience at its facilities.

Furthermore, the marina is an essential factor in providing good service. For this reason, new sailors have been hired, ensuring the presence of professionals in each area of the facilities and optimizing customer service.

In addition, the entity has its own maintenance team instead of the previous subcontractor, so that maintenance tasks are carried out continuously, improving all parts of the facilities; those that are seen and those that are not seen, but are equally important.

And lastly, they also have a gardening team that is taking care of maintaining the green part of the marina, which will be increased in the future with a complete landscaping project, and a very professional cleaning team to keep the facilities in perfect condition.

To ensure greater comfort and hygiene, renovations are being carried out in the marina's bathrooms. Another key aspect has been the improvement of infrastructure and access control. The parking control system at Marina Norte has been optimized and currently, repair and improvement works are being carried out on the central pontoon to increase its functionality and comfort. In addition, a cabin has been installed in Marina Sur which will be enabled as an office. This will allow for better management and attention to customers in this area.

Security has been a priority from minute one, so surveillance has been reinforced in the three docks with 24-hour service to ensure the protection of employees, customers, and boats. In addition, the entity has a video surveillance company for all facilities (ATS).

Moreover, in order to improve mobility and efficiency within the marina, new resources have been acquired, including three new pneumatic boats, one with an electric motor, a bull for support in loading and unloading heavy items, and several vehicles that facilitate mobility within the marina to quickly respond to any needs of its users.

In its commitment to improving the experience of Marina City users, Marina Port Valencia has carried out the renovation of its Captain’s Club by incorporating new furniture, entertainment games, and a refreshed aesthetic that provides greater comfort to visitors.

Sustainability also occupies a priority place in the management of Marina Port Valencia. A significant step towards more responsible management has been taken with the hiring of the company Acteco, specialized in the management of hazardous waste. This initiative seeks to minimize environmental impact and promote sustainable practices in all operations carried out at the facilities.

The commitment to the community has been reinforced through agreements with various federations, associations, and social and nautical foundations.

The collaborations with the Sailing Federation and the Asindown Foundation reflect the commitment to Valencian society.

As part of the service improvement, a collaboration has been established with Varadero Valencia to provide better service to customers. In this sense, various advantages are offered in discounts and preferences for the repair and maintenance of boats exclusively for the customers of Marina Port Valencia.

All these improvements are the first more immediate measures that Marina Port Valencia has implemented during the four months of management and are proof that the new concessionaire has a firm commitment to excellence, security, and sustainability. This does not preclude the unstoppable evolution that these facilities will have in all the areas in which they operate: nautical-sport, repair and maintenance of boats, leisure and entertainment, or nautical and social activities.
