The day started early, with participants enjoying breakfast at the club facilities. Coffee and a strong desire to fish were the perfect ingredients to charge up before heading out to sea on the six boats that Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita made available to the participants. Once aboard and ready, they set sail to the designated fishing area, where the somewhat rough waters provided an ideal setting for the start of the competition.

The first round of the championship, which lasted three and a half hours, unfolded with the boats rocking from the remnants of the previous days' waves. Meanwhile, on board, intensity and strategy reigned. Each member of each pair fought to secure the best catches, always under the strict catch-and-release regulations that ensure the sustainability of sport fishing. At the end of this first phase, participants returned to port to evaluate the initial results, where the first positions in the provisional classification began to take shape.
The break between rounds was an opportunity to share anecdotes and strategies in a relaxed atmosphere. The meal, held in the club's social tent, provided the perfect moment to exchange impressions about the morning's catches and prepare tactics for the second round.
The afternoon brought an even more fiercely contested competition. For over four and a half hours, the pairs returned to the water with renewed energy, aware that this championship was not only a test of skill and experience but also a qualifier for the Spanish Championship. With each cast, the tension rose, and strategic decisions made a difference.
Finally, after tallying the catches from both rounds, the winners of this thrilling day were revealed. The local pair, composed of Miquel Capó and Joan Portell from Club de Pesca Campos, clinched the victory, demonstrating their mastery in well-known waters. Lucas Guasch and Rafael Costa, from Club Náutico Santa Eulalia, achieved a commendable second place, while Josep Barceló and Joan Bautista Maimó, from Club de Pesca Alqueria Blanca, rounded out the podium in third place.
With this success, the winners have secured their participation in the Spanish Championship, representing the Balearic Islands with pride. The event was not only a display of the high level of sport fishing in the region but also a celebration of the spirit of camaraderie and respect for the environment that characterizes this discipline.
