The Balearic nautical industry is one of these sectors that needs to fill various job positions, and for this reason, the Balearics have several vocational training centers specialized in nautical studies, where professionals of the future are trained.

Today we are going to get to know the person who has been at the helm of the training center L’Embat since its inception, the former director Miquel Mestre, who retired this summer after spending his professional life training young people. Passionate about his work, especially mechanics, he wouldn’t want to dedicate himself to anything else in life, and even his favorite smell, solvent, is a reminder of his passion.
