This event is organized by the Department of Enterprise, Employment and Energy, through the Institute for Business Innovation of the Balearic Islands (IDI), and the Balearic Yacht Brokers Association (BYBA).
One of the most complicated tasks of the assembly is the installation of up to 200 meters of floating line for the mooring of yachts or the circulation of visitors. In addition, the floating walkway linking the Consigna breakwater with the Fishing Industry Quay, which allows a circular visit to the fair, is also being installed these days. The walkway is 72 meters long and 5 meters wide.
On land, the exhibition areas are being adapted and more than 400 marquees are being set up to house the different companies. In addition, many of them are choosing to build designer stands to make their participation in one of the most popular nautical events more attractive.
It should be remembered that, on the occasion of the Palma International Boat Show, the El Contramoll Mollet road has been closed to traffic from today until the 30th of April at 18.00 hours.
