The XVIII Euromarina Optimist Torrevieja Trophy 2025, which will be held from January 30 to February 2, has exceeded expectations, with 423 registered participants from 29 countries, 38 of them from the Balearic Islands.

YOU HAVE ALL OF OUR FULL PROGRAMS HERE!This edition has seen an increase in both the number of sailors and participating countries, among which Poland will have the largest representation (49), followed by the Netherlands (20), Turkey (20), Germany (11), and the United States (10). In addition to these countries, sailors from Singapore (2), Tajikistan (1) Hong Kong (4), Ukraine (2), China (1) Estonia (2), and Hungary (1) will also attend the event.
Spain, as the host country, will have participants from 8 Spanish regions competing in the XVIII Euromarina Optimist Torrevieja Trophy, with 211 sailors coming from Galicia, Basque Country, Catalonia, Balearic Islands, Valencian Community, Murcia, Andalusia, and the Canary Islands; in total, 36 yacht clubs.
Regarding the Balearic Islands, this edition will feature up to 38 sailors from the following yacht clubs: Club Nàutic s’Arenal, Club Marítimo San Antonio de la Playa, Club Nàutic s’Estanyol, Club de Vela del Puerto de Andratx, Reial Club Nàutic del Port de Pollença, and the Real Club Náutico de Palma.
In terms of sports, 12 races are planned over the four days of competition, which will start on Thursday, January 30, 2025, with the start signal for the first race of the day at 10 am, the same time for the following three days, unless changes occur.
One of the highlights of the regatta is the Welcome Party, as part of the social events program. It is important to note that every year, all these athletes are welcomed, celebrating this party promoted by Euromarina. For everyone, sailors and coaches alike, it is a day of socializing and fun, which concludes with the flag party.
