More than a thousand people were reunited at the Cena a la Fresca at the Club Nàutic S’Arenal

The Club Nàutic S’Arenal (CNA) celebrated last weekend its traditional Cena a la Fresca, an event which reunited around 1.100 people among them members, escorts, sailors, friends and clients of the club that, like every year, other than the food there were activities of religion, festival, musical, for infants and charitable.

The evening started the Saturday 5th of August at 19:45h with a traditional mass at the plaza of the sailing club, after which they were welcomed by the waiters with a glass of cava at the dry dock. After the handing over of fans and pick up of the tickets, the guests took seat to enjoy the delicious food under the sky, meanwhile the little ones were having fun at the infantile activity. When the banquet was finished, they started with the prize lottery at the Gran Rifa CNA, which consisted of two barbecues for six people and a full equipment of clothes of the CNA. Also they gave awards to the 20 members who have been part of the club for 50 years as associates. Also, the gold insignia was awarded to the former president of the club Òscar Estellers.

The night ended with a summer party with a band La Década Prodigiosa, which made everyone dance and enjoy the music until late in the evening.

During the event, there was a stand with clothes of the CNA with exclusive brand Marinepool in liquidation sale as a stand of CNA Solidarity, a section of the club dedicated for beneficial issues, with information about their actions and the possibility to make donations to ‘Fila 0’.

The following morning, Sunday the 6th, took place in the facilities of the club a party for the small ones who had their moment to enjoy and celebrate their membership at the CNA. From 10.30h to 13.30h, around 120 kids, accompanied by their families, could have fun with all the bouncy castles of water. Furthermore, thanks to the collaboration of the Balearic Federation of Subaquatic Activities, there were first splashes for the little one, and also nautical activities (paddle surf, kayak, etc.) at Es Caló Surf School.
