Nacho Baltasar classifies for Spain in the IQFoil for the Olympic Games of Paris 2024.

The sailor of the Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita, Nacho Baltasar, has signed a spot for the country in the iQFoiL Mens. Without wind and race, the sailor of the Club Nàutic S’Arenal Paula Barceló and her colleague Echegoyen were out of options to improve their ninth place in 49er FX.

The worst possible scenario has been experienced at the World Championship of the Hague. At 10:30h the postponement flags were beginning to fly on the masts of the Olympic Class World Championship. The wind seemed unwilling today to pair with the ever-present current off the coast of The Hague to define the conditions of the race course and let the hours pass without abandoning its inconsistency.

Without getting into the water, from 16:00h they started to announce the cancelation of the races of the day: first for the ILCA 6 and 7, followed by the 49er FX Medal Race, joined by the Men's and Women's iQFOiL and ending with the abandonment of the Men's and Women's Formula Kite.

At iQFoiL, the sailor of the Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita, Nacho Baltasar, has confirmed that the spot for the country for Mens,  and for Pilar Lamadrid has done so for the woman. The Top10 for the Medal Race of iQFoiL Mens and Women which will take place this Saturday 19th which will be defined by the classification of the last journey, with no Spaniard among them, as the sailor from Sa Rapita Nacho Baltasar has finished tenth first in Men and Pilar Lamadrid tenth second in women.
