Andrea Torres, from Club Nàutic S’Arenal, has become the Spanish female under-23 champion, joined on the podium by her clubmate Barbara Winau, who took the bronze. Torres also stepped onto the podium as the third best overall.
Nacho Baltasar won convincingly among the men of the Olympic class iQFOil, where the Olympic athlete claimed the overall victory over the Turkish Onur Cavit Biriz and the Brazilian Mateus Isaac. His victory is triple, as he also clinches the senior title with the under-23 national championship, a category that includes the second and third Spaniards, Guillem Segu from Catalonia and windsurfer Jorge Aranzueque from Santa Pola. In the under-23 Spanish championship, he is flanked by fellow Sa Rápita athlete Bernat Tomas from Club Nàutic S’Arenal and Catalan Sandro Portune in that order.
