DID YOU LIKE THIS CONTENT? WELL... YOU HAVE ALL OF OUR FULL PROGRAMS HERE!This activity is aimed at students who participated in the entry contest but did not make it into the top ten, as a reward for their enthusiasm and creativity in designing the event mascot. Between March 31 and April 9, a total of 360 students and 24 teachers from 17 fifth-grade classes across the island visited the CNSA facilities.
The students enjoyed the activity from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., taking part in an environmental workshop and another workshop on sailing courses and the components of a sailboat. They then went sailing aboard six boats guided by nine instructors: the catamarans ‘Goa Sunset’ and ‘Fontana’, and the sailboats ‘Alsi’, ‘Gamba 1’, ‘Gamba 2’, and ‘Plumilla’.
The classes participating in the 2025 edition of the activity included Can Misses A and B, Can Raspalls A and B, Sa Jovería B, Poeta Villangómez, Sa Bodega A and B, Buscastell, S’Olivera B, Consolación A, Santa Gertrudis A, Sant Rafel, Guillem de Montgrí A, Vara de Rey, Es Vedrà B, and Sant Antoni A.
The 30th edition of Setmana del Mar will conclude next Tuesday, April 15, with a special closing ceremony held throughout the morning at the Caló de s’Oli Auditorium. Attending the event will be the 199 students from the ten winning classes and their teachers. To date, over the course of these 30 years, approximately 14,500 students have taken part in ‘Setmana del Mar’ and ‘Un dia a la mar’.
Setmana del Mar is supported by CaixaBank, Eroski, Baleària, and Rumbo Norte, along with the Department of Sports and Youth of the Consell Insular d’Eivissa, the Sant Antoni City Council, and the Ministry of Education of the Balearic Government.
