No news about the disappeared sailing boat at the channel of Menorca

The search continues for the disappeared vessel in the channel of Menorca during this weather condition this Sunday. In the ship there was onboard a father and his son, of 50 and 19 years old, respectively and of germain nationality.

As reported by the Marine Rescue, an Air Force helicopter and a Marine Rescue Helimar, which worked until nightfall, took part in the search operation deployed on Monday. The search, they explained, is being carried out from the air given the size of the area.

At the same time, they have indicated that as they do not have any news, neither of the boat or of the crew, warnings to navigation continue to be issued in case any vessel in the area might have news of the ship.

The boat left from Cala Galdana (Menorca) and directed to Cala d’Or (Mallorca), when at 18.30h on Sunday they received a warning from an informant who reported that he had been unable to contact the sailing vessel 'Makan Angin' since 10.00 hours.
