The project will be awarded through a simplified open procedure. Additionally, this contract is not co-financed with European funds. The credit reservation certificate for this work was issued on July 2, 2024, ensuring the availability of the necessary funds for the project's execution.

This project falls within the executive competencies of Ports de les Illes Balears, which is tasked with the management and maintenance of the regional port infrastructure. The rehabilitation of the Portocolom docks is a priority to ensure the continuity of port operations under optimal safety and efficiency conditions.

The rehabilitation represents a significant investment in the port infrastructure of the Balearic Islands, demonstrating the Govern's commitment to the safety, operability, and modernization of port facilities.
