Open Registration for the 4th Edition of the Ocean Power Watersports Photography Awards

The Ocean Power Watersports Photography Awards invites photography enthusiasts from around the world to participate in the fourth edition of the largest international watersports photography competition.

This initiative aims to provide visibility and recognition to this sector of photography, offering both professional and amateur photographers the opportunity to present their work to the public. The competition first launched in 2021, receiving a warm welcome with over a hundred photographs submitted from fifteen different countries.

Following the reception of nearly two hundred photographs from around the world in the 2023 edition, the Ocean Power WPA is now entering its fourth year. Those wishing to submit their work can do so through the event’s website until the deadline on September 27.

A jury comprised of photography and sports journalism professionals will announce the finalists in each category on October 18. The final results of the competition will be revealed at an awards ceremony on November 30.

Participants can submit a maximum of one photograph per category, with a total of 17 categories available in the fourth edition of the Ocean Power Watersports Photography Awards. In addition to commemorative trophies, the event's organization will distribute 4,500 euros among the winners at the awards ceremony.

The Ocean Power WPA is supported by major Spanish sports federations, including the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation, the Spanish Surfing Federation, the Spanish Federation of Underwater Activities, the Royal Spanish Canoeing Federation, and the Royal Spanish Federation of Powerboating, among others.
