Another Es Nàutic sailor, Héctor Pérez del Álamo, took second place in the Raceboard class, a competition held this weekend in Sant Antoni.

YOU HAVE ALL OF OUR FULL PROGRAMS HERE!The sailor and trainer of the Club Nàutic Sant Antoni, Oren del Álamo, has won the Balearic Windsurfer Championship in the women's category, which was held in the bay of Portmany under the organization of the CNSA for this modality and Raceboard. The final classification has been determined after the celebration of four of the six races that were scheduled, in the course of a weekend marked by excessive wind.
Oren was joined on the podium by Cristina Roca, from Club Náutico Guadalix, who came second, and Jessica Torres, also from Es Nàutic, who came third. The Es Nàutic Champion was also third in the overall absolute classification.
The first classified in the men's Windsurfer category and overall leader was Nacho Pérez Lago, from the Real Club Náutico de La Línea, followed by Borja Melgarejo, from the Real Club Marítimo y Tenis de Punta Umbría, and Borja Hernández, from the Club Náutico Puerto Sherry. Lluís Colomé and Enrique Mas came in 5th and 6th place, respectively.
In the Raceboard class, Es Nàutic sailor Héctor Pérez del Álamo came in second place, second only to Álex Buchau, from CS Formentera. Jaume Llorens, also from CS Formentera, took third place. The first classified in the women's category and 5th overall was Nara Heins, from Club Náutico Santa Eulalia.
A total of 32 sailors registered for the Balearic Windsurfer and Raceboard Championship. Three races were held on Saturday and only one on Sunday, due to the very strong wind in the bay. The participants were able to discard one of the races.
