Over 50 kayakers participated this Saturday, November 9, in the first Insular Council Cup – School Games held in the waters of the port of Mahón.

Young Daniel Cortés, from the Club Marítimo de Mahón, was the fastest in the 1000 meters pre-benjamin category, while in the benjamin category, paddler Nanuk Marqués from Club Nàutic Ciutadella took first place ahead of Gabriel Mora (Club Marítimo de Mahón), both with a time of 6:12, and Ibai Santos (Club Marítimo de Mahón), with a time of 6:22.
In the juvenile category over 2000 meters, the Club Marítimo Mahón dominated both the women's and men's events. Adriana González, Carla Llorca, and Asia Rosselló formed the podium with times of 11:57, 12:09, and 12:41, respectively, while the men's classification was led by Pablo Cayarga, Jaime Montañés, and Leonardo Pons Roca with times of 11:14, 11:37, and 11:51.
In the junior category over 3000 meters, Sienna Hall was the fastest with a time of 16:30, followed by Hannah Cook (16:35) and Aina Teresa Pallas (17:01), all from the Club Marítimo de Mahón, while in the men's, the victory went to Pol Tàrrega (15:44) followed by Aingeru Salaverria (15:54), both from the Club Marítimo de Mahón, and Marc Llompart, from Club Nàutic Ciutadella, (16:08).
In the cadet category, Club Nàutic Ciutadella achieved a double victory with Berta Sans (26:26) and Miquel Llompart (25:06). Claudia Cook (27:17) and Irati Vidal (28:05) completed the women's podium, while Marcos Pons (25:26) and Bruno Pons (26:23) did so in the men's, all being athletes from the Club Marítimo de Mahón.
