As it has done every year since 2007, Palma Aquarium is holding the "Me Too" Great Charity Party. The aim of this year's event is to raise funds for the Asnimo Foundation, the first organization created in Spain, and one of the first in the world, specializing in the comprehensive care of people with Down's syndrome and other disabilities, especially Autism Spectrum Disorder, during all stages of the lives of the people they care for.
DID YOU LIKE THIS CONTENT? WELL... YOU HAVE ALL OF OUR FULL PROGRAMS HERE!The event will be held on the weekend of 18th and 19th of November, two very special days in which visitors, in addition to enjoying the park, will find an extensive program of activities with games, children's entertainment, performances such as face painting, magic show Enzo Lorenzo, storytelling by ‘Conte contat’, batucada with Bloco Ayan, a black theater by Fundación Asnimo and a solidarity raffle with great prizes such as stays in 5* hotels, excursions, tablets, bicycles, flights, stays in spas and many more, all provided by collaborating companies that have joined in this way to the solidarity cause.
During the weekend, admission to Palma Aquarium will cost 11 euros for all residents, both for adults and children from 3 years old (the youngest children from 0 to 3 years old always enter the park free of charge). Of this amount, 1.5 euros from each ticket, together with all the proceeds from the raffle, will go to the Fundación Asnimo.
Fundación Asnimo will use the profits from the solidarity festival to improve its four supervised homes. A residential service whose mission goes beyond offering a home to the people with disabilities that they take in. They work daily to promote their autonomy and independence, providing them with the support they need at all times. Likewise, this residential resource means peace of mind for the families, who know that their children have the specialized care they need and, at the same time, they continue to maintain the link with them by participating in their day-to-day lives.
