In addition, thanks to a collaboration agreement with Adema, the University School of Fine Arts of Mallorca, this year 12 students from this school will participate and will intervene 12 other faces. It is undoubtedly good news to have the next generation of Mallorcan muralists sharing the same space alongside established artists.
This year's guest artist is the Mallorcan Joan Aguiló, a benchmark in urban art in Spain, with numerous awards in his career, who will make a vertical mural on 3 stacked containers, which will undoubtedly be the most iconic point of the AfterSun Fest.
What started as a market and a street art event has become this year a Cultural Festival whose mission is to serve as a platform for the visualization and promotion of emerging talents of the islands in art, design, fashion and crafts.
Aftersun Fest also has a large space for street food, music and experiences under a spectacular decoration. In fact, among the proposed activities are the creative workshops for children, led by Carolina Adán and Belén Pez, who as well as participating as artists, will also have a brand.
This is the eighth edition of this festival of reference in the Balearic Islands, which has the particularity of becoming a permanent exhibition of urban art, and which forms part of Port Adriano's commitment to culture, to emerging artists and to holding events that go beyond the summer season.
