Portmany Bay will host the Trofeo Illes Balears Techno IQFoil

Among the contenders for the trophy, organized by Es Nàutic, there will be 7 representatives from the sports entity. The competitions are on December 6 and 7, at 11:30 AM.

This upcoming weekend, Es Nàutic is organizing the Trofeo Illes Balears for the Techno and IQ Foil youth windsurfing classes in the waters of Portmany Bay.

In total, 53 sailors from all the islands and clubs in the Balearic Islands where these disciplines are practiced will participate. The CNSA will participate with seven sailors, four in Techno (Mateo del Rincón, Jan Walley, Iker Ribas, and Miquel Castelló) and three in IQ Foil (Héctor Pérez, Miguel Roselló, and Andrés Rosello).

The competitions will take place on December 6 and 7, starting at 11:30 AM, in two racing areas, one for the IQFoil class and the other for the Techno class, which will be set up in the bay. This is the first qualifying event to form the regional teams that will represent the Balearic Islands at the upcoming national events (Cup and Spanish Championship).
