With just over two months until the start of the 2025 season of the 52 SUPER SERIES, the French Riviera is set to kick off a circuit that this year will feature a fleet of between 11 and 13 boats, visiting the racecourses of Saint-Tropez, Baiona, Cascais, Puerto Portals, and Porto Cervo.

YOU HAVE ALL OF OUR FULL PROGRAMS HERE!The 52 SUPER SERIES teams have spent the winter months fine-tuning and optimizing their vessels in search of small advancements that could be crucial during the upcoming intense and highly competitive season. At least five teams will spend several days training in Valencia from April 4 to 11, and it is already known that Terry Hutchinson will return as tactician and the "talisman" Doug DeVos as owner and helmsman aboard the champion ‘American Magic Quantum Racing’.
The 2025 circuit will begin with a much-anticipated return to the French Riviera. The 52 SUPER SERIES Saint-Tropez Sailing Week will take place from April 29 to May 4 with 11 boats participating, including the debut of Andrea Lacorte's new Italian team, ‘Alkedo powered by Vitamina’. The racecourse in Saint-Tropez hosted the circuit's historic debut in French waters at the first event of 2023, with ‘Provezza’ of Ergin Imre winning. The Turkish flag team, winner of the first event of 2024, closed last season with a magnificent second place in Valencia shortly after launching its new boat, confirming its status as a serious contender for a title that eluded it in 2023 by a tiebreaker.
2025 will also see the fleet's return to the Atlantic and to Baiona, the spectacular Galician venue that hosted the 52 SUPER SERIES for the first time in 2022. The 52 SUPER SERIES Baiona Royal Cup will take place from June 2 to 7, hosted by the welcoming Monte Real Club de Yates de Baiona. Its magnificent racecourse in front of the Cíes Islands, at the mouth of the Vigo estuary, is still remembered by the crews for its green and rugged landscape. A fleet of 12 boats is expected to compete for the Royal Cup, currently held by ‘Platoon Aviation’ of Harm Müller-Spreer. In 2022, Doug De Vos led ‘Quantum Racing’ to victory in this beautiful corner of northwestern Spain.
From the Rías Baixas of Galicia, the fleet will head to Cascais (Portugal), a venue where the class has historically enjoyed some of the most exciting and physically demanding races, among large waves and strong winds. The Rolex TP52 World Championship will take place from July 1 to 6, and for now, it seems that it will bring together 11 teams, all with great chances of winning the TP52 world crown, defended by Tony Langley's Gladiator, the 2024 champion.
A season of the 52 SUPER SERIES would not be complete without a regatta in Mallorca. The TP52s will compete in the fourth of the five circuit events in 2025: the Puerto Portals 52 SUPER SERIES Sailing Week. Puerto Portals, the circuit's most visited venue, is unanimously recognized for its unbeatable combination of a unique fun atmosphere on land along with very competitive races in the always reliable breeze of the Bay of Palma. Twelve teams are expected to compete in the fourth event of the year, from August 18 to 23.
The 2025 season will conclude in Sardinia (Italy), where from September 22 to 27, the 52 SUPER SERIES Porto Cervo Sailing Week will be held. The absolute title of the last two seasons was decided by a point or less, and that same small margin could be the decisive factor in the waters of Porto Cervo. The forecast indicates that the 13 teams will gather to say farewell to the season in this exciting grand finale.
