Rafael Gil March has been selected this evening as the new president of the Real Club Náutico de Palma (RCNP). His nomination obtained 281 votes, against the 221 of Bartomeu Berga and 158 of Miguel Matas.

The new board of directors of the RCNP has called for unity among all members at a time when the entity, founded as such in 1948 but whose roots go back to 1891, is struggling to preserve its historic facilities in the port of Palma.
Rafael Gil, whose mandate will last until 2027, has placed the preservation of the concession as the absolute priority of his team and has pledged to continue to make a strong commitment to the promotion of sport, the main statutory objective of the club.
