The Nautical Academy of CNSA will offer a new Basic Training in Maritime Safety course, aimed at all those interested in working at sea. It will be taught entirely at the Nautical Academy, from November 18 to December 1, except for the firefighting practice, which will be held in Ca na Palava.

YOU HAVE ALL OF OUR FULL PROGRAMS HERE!This is a comprehensive course that includes theoretical and practical classes on survival, firefighting, basic life support, and, of course, maneuvering and navigation. The course, which is in-person, lasts for 70 hours, of which 45 hours are theoretical content and 25 hours are practical content. The teaching team is composed of three technicians, a medic, a firefighter, and a Merchant Marine pilot.
Classes are scheduled from 8 am to 3 pm, Monday to Sunday, during the two weeks of the course. Both the theoretical and practical parts will take place entirely at the facilities of the Club Nàutic Sant Antoni, except for the firefighting exercise, which will take place at the headquarters of the company Apagafoc, in the Ca na Palava industrial estate.
Professional Maritime Training is one of the major commitments recently made by the Nautical Academy of CNSA, with the aim of establishing on the island a training center from which new professionals linked to maritime trades can emerge.
