The sea water temperature at Sa Dragonera broke a record by reaching 31.87 degrees Celsius (°C) this Monday, August 12th, at 13:00 hours, according to data collected by the Dragonera buoy (Balearic Islands) of Puertos del Estado.

Last year, 2023, this buoy also recorded, in August, the highest temperature of our waters, 31.21°C.
The public agency Puertos del Estado, which depends on the Ministry of Transport, Mobility, and Urban Agenda (Minetad), monitors the temperature and other sea variables with its network of 29 buoys, 41 tide gauges, 24 meteorological sensors, and 4 High-Frequency Radars.
