The jury of the Esports IB Awards met this Monday, November 11, at the headquarters of the Conselleria de Turismo, Cultura y Deportes to vote on the nominations presented and unanimously approved by the Balearic Sports Assembly in the meeting of last October 28.

This award recognizes the best athletes and clubs of the 2023/2024 season.
Of the 25 winners of this edition, 8 are athletes in sailing, canoeing, or fishing.
Neus Fernández and Martina Gomila (sailing), from the Club Nàutic S'Arenal, are the winners of the "Female Promise" category. Marcus Cooper (canoeing), the Olympian from the Porto Petro club, is the winner of "Best Male Athlete." Betty Menéndez (canoeing), from the Nàutic de Sant Antoni, is the winner of "Best Coach." Sete Benavides (canoeing) is one of the winners of the "Honorary Award."
As for the sports merit mentions, the winners are the Real Club Náutico de Palma (sailing and canoeing), Malen Sart (underwater fishing) and Joan Cardona (sailing), from the Club Marítimo de Mahón.
The award ceremony will be held on December 20 at the Professional Conservatory of Music and Dance of Mallorca.
The jury has been chaired by the conseller of Tourism, Culture, and Sports, Jaume Bauzà, and includes representatives from the four insular councils, individual sports federations, team sports federations, the Official College of Graduates in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences, the Association of Journalists of the Balearic Islands, the Journalists' Union of the Balearic Islands, the Association of Professional Sports Managers of the Balearic Islands, and the Federation of Local Entities of the Balearic Islands.
