Over 115 sailors from different autonomous communities gathered this weekend at the Surfari Mar Menor to compete in Formula Windsurfing and the National Open Windsurfer, as well as in the Open Foil, Open Techno 293, and Open Children Under 14 assemblies.
FOLLOW US ON OUR SOCIAL MEDIA PROFILES AND RECEIVE UPDATES FROM "PASSION FOR THE SEA"The beaches of La Concha and Carrión in Los Alcázares were filled with hundreds of windsurfers and sailors who navigated two racecourses, under very good weather conditions, with plenty of sunshine and south-component winds between 8 and 19 knots.
The sailors from Club Nàutic S’Arenal dominated in the Open Foil class, sweeping the podium with Francisco Bleda, Juan Bruno Palmer, and Alejandra Terrasa.
They also excelled in Techno 293, where Carlota Torrandell reached the third step of the podium in the sub 15 female category and Joan Severa was the runner-up in the sub 15 male category.
Mariona Moragues and Carmen Terrasa finished second and third respectively in the sub 13 female category. And Fernando Terrasa and Nicolás Miguel Servera were proclaimed champion and third respectively in the sub 13 male category. Additionally, Juan Manuel Gracia finished sixth in the overall Formula Windsurfing classification.
