Sailors from Club Nàutic S'Arenal dominate the Trofeo Illes Balears de Techno and IQFoil

Sailors from Club Nàutic S'Arenal swept the Trofeo Illes Balears de Techno and Iqfoil organized by Club Nàutic Sant Antoni, reaching the podium in all categories except Techno sub17. Thus, they achieved 9 medals across the IQFoil sub 17 and sub 19 classes, both female and male, and Techno sub 13 and sub15.

Saturday, December 7, was a spectacular day in the bay of Portmany, where the Trofeo Illes Balears for the youth Techno and IQ Foil windsurfing classes was held. However, the competition had to be suspended due to the orange alert for a possible storm. Despite everything, the Regatta Committee was able to complete the scheduled program.

In total, 8 IQ Foil races and 4 Techno races were contested, which, with the corresponding discards, allowed for a fair and satisfactory championship for the organization and the participants. The sailors from Club Nàutic Sant Antoni, organizers of the trophy, achieved two podiums: Iker Ribas was second in Techno Sub 17 and Jan Vallvey third in Techno Sub 13.

In Techno Sub 17, the top three were Gonzalo Alcoba (CN Santa Eulalia), Iker Ribas (CNSA), and Thibault Ferrari (CN Santa Eulalia). In Techno Sub 15, Biel Martorell (CMSAP-Can Pastilla), Joshua León Castro (CMSAP-Can Pastilla), and Joan Servera (CN s’Arenal). In Techno Sub 13, Fernando Terrasa (CN s’Arenal), María Martorell (CMSAP-Can Pastilla), and Jan Vallvey (CNSA).

In IQ Foil Sub 17, the top three were Enric Patiño (CN s’Arenal), Juan Terrasa (CN s’Arenal), and Hugo Colomar (CS Formentera). In IQ Foil Sub 19 Women, Caterina Torres (CN s’Arenal), María Terrasa (CN s’Arenal), and Natalia Alemany (CMSAP-Can Pastilla). And in IQ Foil Sub 19 Men, Jorge Ruiz (CN s’Arenal), Jordi Cerdá (CN s’Arenal), and Miquel Felip Servera (CN s’Arenal).
