Additionally, this restoration is crucial for the proper operation of the facility authorized for use by the Balearic Sailing Federation and the new marina for small boats in the Caló de’n Rigo basin.
The operation is expected to last two months, with an investment exceeding 200,000 euros. The contract for the seabed cleaning has been awarded to Servicios Profesionales Submarinos (SERPROSUB).
The completion of the seabed cleaning is scheduled to coincide with the end of the renovation works on the historic building previously owned by the Molinar Maritime Club, which is part of the nautical facility. Once both projects are finished, the concession for managing moorings for boats up to eight meters in length can be awarded to Nautic Assets Developers Team S.L.
The concessionaire will invest 672,000 euros in the installation of new pontoons and other facilities and will manage the concession for 18 years. Additionally, they will oversee the building, which will house a bar-cafeteria-restaurant on the ground floor and social and cultural activities on the first floor.
