Six-time Olympic athlete Maksim Oberemko will conduct an X-15 wingfoil clinic at Es Nàutic

Maksim Oberemko, a legend in windsurfing who has participated in all the Olympic Games from Atlanta 1996 to Rio de Janeiro 2016, representing first Ukraine and then Russia, will conduct the X-15 wingfoil monotype clinic offered by the Starboard brand during the first week of October at the Club Nàutic Sant Antoni, coinciding with the Ibiza Wingfoil Open Spanish Racing Championship (IWO).

The clinic led by Oberemko, who is currently a prestigious wingfoil coach, will have two phases. The first will take place on October 2 and 3, with various optional schedules, and will be open to enthusiasts from the island who wish to attend, along with participants of the competition already in Ibiza. The second phase will be exclusively for competitors of the IWO who want to learn about the X-15 Class in detail and will occur in the hours before and after the competition. The Ibiza Wingfoil Open Spanish Racing Championship (IWO) will be held from October 4 to 6 in Ibiza, in the surroundings of the bay of Portmany, featuring the best athletes from the country. The event is organized by the Club Nàutic Sant Antoni and the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation, and the registration cap has already been reached, with a total of 60 participants, of which 50 are men and 10 women.

The introduction of X-15 class monotypes in our country will take place through this championship, thanks to the incorporation of Excens Sports as a sponsor, the distributor of the Starboard brand in Spain, among others, which is a global reference in the wingfoil and wind sports sector.
