STP Shipyard Palma tests its new fire-fighting tool: the Elide Fire Ball

The team at STP Shipyard Palma successfully conducted its annual fire drill, a key activity in reinforcing safety skills at the shipyard facilities that tests the team to provide a quick and effective response in case of an emergency. This exercise, carried out in collaboration with fire protection experts, aims to ensure that the staff is fully prepared to handle any eventuality.

On this occasion, scenarios were simulated in both open and enclosed spaces, using an innovative and highly effective tool: the Elide Fire Ball, a fire-extinguishing ball designed to quickly and safely extinguish fires. This device allows for rapid action in hard-to-reach places, offering an ideal solution for emergencies.

During the drill, the team had the opportunity to practice handling it in real situations, improving their response capability thanks to this tool.

The exercise was divided into several stages, with a specialized team in charge of supervising and guiding the process. Workers at STP received hands-on training in the use of fire extinguishers, hoses, and other essential equipment, as well as constant feedback to perfect each action.
