This team will be organized in morning, afternoon and evening shifts to cover the surveillance of the nest for the 24 hours of the day. During these shifts, the staff assigned has to be attentive to the birth of these turtles and to follow the protocol at the moment that it happens. They will also have to attend to curious people that come up to ask information about the nest.
The volunteers that will be part of the surveillance team will do a training course, with basic information about the nesting of turtles, to know how they should act at all times.
