The work will start after the end of the tourist season in 2024 and its physical execution will continue during the first months of 2025.

YOU HAVE ALL OF OUR FULL PROGRAMS HERE!The Balearic Water and Environmental Quality Agency (ABAQUA) has put out to tender the work of dismantling, removing and managing the old outfall of the Eivissa WWTP, known as the Talamanca outfall removal. The works, the tender for which is published today, 22nd of March, are being put out to tender for €1,242,710.98, VAT included.
The purpose of the planned works is to remove the old underwater outfall of the Eivissa WWTP, which is currently out of service, in accordance with the agreement adopted by the plenary session of the Balearic Islands Environmental Committee on 28th of March 2018 on the new WWTP outfall and the removal of the old outfall.
The contract, once the tendering, awarding and signing procedure has been completed, will begin with the processing of all the necessary permits to operate in the area and to have the necessary adapted spaces for the collection and management of the fiber cement waste, to begin dismantling once the 2024 tourist season is over. Its physical execution will take place during the first months of 2025.
The Department of the Sea and Water Cycle thus takes a new step towards the environmental improvement of Talamanca Bay in compliance with the prescriptions of the environmental bodies.
