Last Saturday, 30th of March, the Esperanza Lake in Alcudia, hosted the 1st Balearic Junior and Senior Sprint Cup in which paddlers from all the islands took part.

YOU HAVE ALL OF OUR FULL PROGRAMS HERE!The wind was the main protagonist of this 1st Balearic Junior and Senior Sprint Cup held in Alcudia, in which the rower of the Club de Vela Puerto de Andratx, María Reus, won the gold medal in the sub23 female K1 in both the 200m and 1,000m distances.
Es Nàutic won a total of eight medals and third place in the club classification. In K-1 Men's 500m, Noel López won gold, while Raúl Prendes won silver. In the same event, Ilhan Velasco was fourth and Álvaro Rubio sixth. In K-2 Men 200m, the pair formed by Raúl Prendes and Noel López came first, followed by Ilhan Velasco and Álvaro Rubio. Both pairs achieved the same result in K-2 Men 1.000 metres. In K-2 Women 200 meters the pair formed by Andrea Ribas and Andrea Barrionuevo won the silver medal, repeating this same result in K-2 Women 1.000 meters.
The paddler of the Club Nàutic Portitxol, Antonio Mikhaylenko has won the gold in K1 200 and his club mate, Omar Calzon has made a double in the Master Cup that has also taken place on the same Saturday in Alcudia, winning the gold in K1 500 and the silver in K1 200.
As for the classification by clubs, Es Nàutic took third place with 275 points, out of the nine participating squads. In first place was the Real Club Náutico de Palma, with 1,048 points, followed by CM Mahón, with 484.
A very positive day ahead of the 1st Spanish Sprint Cup, to be held on the 13th and 14th of April in Verducido (Pontevedra).
