The remaining fifty percent of those registered to date are divided into 25 units of the J/70 class, which will hold its World Championship in Palma and at the RCNP facilities between the 13th and 22nd of September; and the remaining 25 are made up of the ClubSwan 50 and 42 classes, as well as the new Women's Cup, which due to its Round Robin format with equal boats in the fleet and in rotation, already has 11 teams registered.
‘Year after year the Copa del Rey MAPFRE demonstrates its good health by exceeding the figure of one hundred entries,’ says Rafael Gil, president of the organising committee and of the Real Club Náutico de Palma. ‘The commitment to the 2025 ORC European Championship and the J/70 World Championship this autumn means that, two months before the competition, together with the other classes such as the ClubSwan and the Women's Cup, we have a large number of participants with a great sporting quality, which will make this 42nd edition reaffirm the global positioning of the Copa del Rey MAPFRE’.
