The 42nd Copa del Rey MAPFRE already has more than a hundred entrants

With two months to go until the start of the 42nd edition of the Copa del Rey MAPFRE, to be held from the 27th of July to the 3rd of August, more than one hundred boats have confirmed their participation.

Currently, more than half of the registered fleet is in the ORC class, which reaffirms their commitment to the European Championship that the Real Club Náutico de Palma and the Offshore Racing Congress will organize in 2025 as part of the 43rd Copa del Rey MAPFRE.

The remaining fifty percent of those registered to date are divided into 25 units of the J/70 class, which will hold its World Championship in Palma and at the RCNP facilities between the 13th and 22nd of September; and the remaining 25 are made up of the ClubSwan 50 and 42 classes, as well as the new Women's Cup, which due to its Round Robin format with equal boats in the fleet and in rotation, already has 11 teams registered.
