STAY UP TO DATE OF WHAT WE DO AND RECEIVE OUR NEWSLETTERThe first of the two races of the Pedro’s Boat Trophy already has a leader. Carlos Pons Vidal and his ‘Alba III’ triumphed this Sunday, September 29, in a day marked by light winds that complicated the first of the races scheduled for the season's first cruising event organized by the Club Marítimo de Mahón.
The ‘Alba III’ was not only the fastest overall in completing the race, with a time of 2:06:21, but also maintained its lead after the time compensations. The second place went to the ‘Rupit’ of Mireia García, which finished with a time of 2:21:54 and a final adjusted time of +6:30, while the bronze went to the ‘Sukita’ of Virginia Petrus with a time of 2:21:51, with a compensation that increased the difference to +14:45.
A total of 10 vessels participated, eight from the Club Marítimo de Mahón and two from the Club Náutico Villacarlos.
The winner will be known, in principle, next Sunday, October 13, with the holding of the second race, which will very likely be windward-leeward.
