The APB participates in events honoring the centenary of Antonio Maura, founder of the RLNE

The Balearic Port Authority (APB) will collaborate in a series of conferences organized by the Balearic Delegation of the Real Liga Naval Española (RLNE), an entity founded by Antonio Maura.

This series, which will consist of three sessions, will provide an in-depth look at the life and legacy of a key figure in Spain’s maritime history.

The first session, taking place on February 19, will be dedicated to the life and work of Antonio Maura (1853-1925) and will feature a presentation by Juan Díaz Cano, president of the Real Liga Naval Española.

The second session, scheduled for March 19, will be led by María Dolores Pujades Sánchez, the RLNE delegate in the Balearic Islands, who will discuss the relationship between Maura and the association throughout its 125-year history.

Finally, the third session, set for April 2, will feature a lecture by Fernando Álvarez Palacios, RLNE delegate in Madrid, who will analyze Maura’s legacy from a more philosophical perspective.

The conferences will take place at 7:00 PM in the auditorium of the Port Centre of the Balearic Port Authority.
