The Balearic fleet, which came to the event after having competed in the Balearic Championship in the waters of the Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita, has shown its best sailing in a very evenly matched Spanish Cup. In this way, the sailor of the Real Club Náutico de Palma, Biel Lladó was proclaimed sub16 male champion. The silver and bronze in this category has been disputed and equal between Biel Lladó from Palma and Loe Griñán from Torrevieja (RCN Torrevieja), both with the same score: 40 points.
Club Nàutic S'Arenal sailor Lucía Cardona has won the U18 female bronze medal. The title and the silver medal stay in the Valencian Community, with Anna Korecka (RCN Calpe) winning the ILCA 4 Spanish Cup, while Clara Sophie García (CN Altea) is silver.
And the current Balearic champion and sailor of the Real Club Náutico de Palma, Juan Bennassar has finished fourth in the overall standings tied on points with the third classified, Joan Fargas (CN Cambrils) with 9 points, the same as Enrique Ferrando (RCN Valencia).
