Some twenty sailors from different Balearic yacht clubs will compete in this ILCA 4 Spanish Cup, including the recent Balearic women's champion, the sailor from the Reial Club Nàutic Port de Pollença, Magdalena Villalonga, and the Balearic men's champion, from the Real Club Náutico de Palma, Juan Bennassar. Also participating are sailors from Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita, Club Nàutic S'Arenal, Club Marítimo San Antonio de la Playa, Club Nàutic S'Estanyol and Club Nàutic Cala Gamba.

Nine races are scheduled to take place over the three days, with a qualifying series and a final series. The starting time for the first race of the day has been set at 12.00h for all three days.
