The Balearic Islands is promoted as a nautical destination during the Monaco Yacht Show

One more year the Balearic Marine Cluster has assisted next to its 20 associated companies, and in collaboration with Mallorca Council, to the superyacht event in the Mediterranean: the Monaco Yacht Show.

Promote and position the Balearic Islands as a nautical destination of reference, ideal for leisure and boat repair, this is the premise under which Balearic Marine Cluster, through its destination promotion brand Balearic Yacht Destination has attended with its own stand at the Salon Monegasque, which was held from 27th to 30th September.

Next to the association there was 20 of the 80 companies that currently are part of the cluster, three participants more than the past edition: Alcudiamar, Astilleros de Mallorca, Atlante Marine Solutions, ATS, Baleos, Bas & Josa, BWA, Estela Shipping, Evolution, Grupo IPM, IEC Telecom, Infe Group, Lantimar, Modesty, Nautiel, Nautipaints, Ocibar, P&G Yachting, Port Call and The Islander.

The gathering has shown, once again, the perfect scenario to strengthen and establish new connections between professionals in the sector, but also for the association itself, which has not missed this opportunity to meet with the different Mediterranean clusters. 

In this occasion, the Clusters of France (Riviera Yachting), Italia (Navigo), Mónaco (Cluster Yachting Mónaco) and the Balearic Islands (Balearic Marine Cluster) took advantage of the event and they gathered to exchange opinions and promote the nautical industry to stay at the forefront of competitiveness by working together.

On the other hand, this event has not only served to nourish the connections with the foreigners but also to strengthen the already established bonds between the balearic administrations. 

One of the most outstanding visits was the stand of the Manager of the IDI Silvia Delgado and Chema Sans, director of the PIBS. Who were able to enjoy this celebration organized jointly by the Balearic Marine Cluster and the Council of Mallorca Thursday 28th of September at the stand of the Balearic Yacht Destination. To this gathering came more than 200 people, who could enjoy km.0 products of the Balearic Islands such as ‘sobrasada’, ham, Mahon cheese and mallorcan wine.
