A hundred Techno and IQFoil sailors gathered from February 14 to 16 at Club Náutico Santa Pola during the Comunitat Valenciana Olympic Week to compete in the Spanish Championship for these classes.

In IQFoil, the sailors from Club Nàutic S’Arenal (CNA) left no room for their rivals throughout the three days of racing and eleven contested races, securing podium finishes in all categories. Patricia Orosa and Enric Patiño were crowned Spanish champions in the U17 category. Additionally, Caterina Tomás finished as runner-up in U19, and Jorge Ruiztook bronze in U19. From Club Marítimo San Antonio de la Playa (CMSAP), Clara Puigserver secured the U17 runner-up position.
In Techno 293, Balearic sailors were also unstoppable, leading the competition in the nine races contested. The U15 podium was entirely Balearic, with Biel Martorell (CMSAP) winning the title, Joan Servera (CNA) taking silver, and Joshua Castro (CMSAP) claiming bronze. In U13, Mariona Moragues (CNA) was crowned champion, with Maria Martorell (CMSAP) finishing as runner-up. In the boys’ category, Nano Terrasa and Nico Servera, both from Club Nàutic S’Arenal, secured silver and bronze, respectively.
Thanks to these outstanding results, Baleares was crowned Spanish champion by regions in both Techno 293 and IQFoil.
