This weekend was held in Costa d'en Blanes, Mallorca, the Balearic Sea Kayak Championship, where a hundred paddlers from different yacht clubs of the islands participated.

Club Nàutic Sant Antoni took a total of 27 paddlers and won a total of 14 medals (4 gold, 5 silver and 5 bronze), achievements that have placed Es Nàutic in second position in the classification by clubs.
The gold medals went to José Jiménez and Sigifredo Felipe (SS2 Cadet Men), Facundo González (SS1 Cadet A Men), Valentina Rodríguez (SS1 Cadet A Women) and Lara Ribas (SS1 Infant B Women).
Silver medals were won by Raúl Prendes and Ilhan Velasco (SS2 Senior Men), Álvaro Rubio (SS1 Junior Men), Roy Kikozashvili (SS1 Cadet A Men), Iciar Solé (SS1 Cadet A Women) and Laura Rubio (SS1 Infantil B Women). Finally, the bronzes were received by Noel López (SS1 Junior Men), Toni Llorens (SS1 Cadet B Men), Odalis Posado (SS1 Infantil B Women), José Luis González (Veteran Men 50-54) and Neus Mateu (SS1 Veteran Women 55-59).
Four canoeists from Club Nàutic Portitxol have participated in this championship, achieving three podiums. Vittorio Mataloni has won the gold in the senior category and Omar Calzon has done the same in Master. In addition, Theo Wolf has won the bronze in cadet and Marta Ballesteros has finished sixth in children.
The paddlers of the Club de Vela Puerto de Andratx, have won three gold medals, four silver and one bronze that have earned them a deserved third podium by clubs, fourth in the regional medal standings and proclaiming champions Pep Alemany, brand new bronze at the European Championship in Azores, Alba Fernandez and Josep Cifre.
On the other hand, our Veterans of Andratx, in the distance of 8000 meters, have won 1 gold medal, three silver and two bronze, ranking fourth by clubs and third in the medal standings.
