The Ocean Power Watersports Photography Awards will reunite in Denia the best photographers of the world of water sports for the third year consecutively. These awards were born with the goal to show support and give visibility to the world the photography specialized in water sports and aquatic environments.

The first edition, held in 2021, received over a hundred entries from photographers of up to fifteen different nationalities. The second edition, in 2022, obtained similar figures to the first year, demonstrating the great reception this competition enjoys among the international community of photographers.
A jury, made up of professionals from the nautical world, experts in audiovisual communication and nautical journalists, will decide who will win the award for the best photograph in each of the eleven categories of the competition and who will win the coveted prize for the best photograph of the year.
The eleven categories of the Ocean Power Watersports Photography Awards cover all disciplines of water sports photography. Thus, the competition will reward the best photograph of 2023 in sailing, rowing, motorboating, fishing, among others, with a total of up to €3,500 in prizes. From all the photographs submitted, regardless of the category, the professional jury will choose the best photograph of the year.
The winners will be announced the following 2nd of December at the Hotel Denia Marriot La Sella Golf Resort & Spa at a gala open for the public and of free entrance. The event will start at five o’clock in the afternoon and previously at the start of the gala, all attendees will be able to enjoy a welcome cocktail. In addition to the awards ceremony, there will be a charity auction of a print of "The Best Water Sports Photography 2023" in favour of the Water Sports Plastic Free Foundation, a foundation that strives to establish sustainable habits in sporting events.
