YOU HAVE ALL OF OUR FULL PROGRAMS HERE!In the conversation, on the part of the APB, guarantees were given that all the allegations presented by each of the parties will be taken into account. Therefore, the first assessment of the club is positive regarding the meeting held and the commitment reached by the Port Authority.
The club assures that its allegations, based on reasons of financial recklessness and port security, must be properly addressed, analyzed and assessed within the framework of this tender.
They have also informed them that, in case they were not attended, they will file the corresponding appeal, as they understand that they are extremely solid.
In the course of the meeting, they have told the club that the evaluation commissions will make their corresponding analysis and assessment and, in any case, the sovereign body that must decide, according to the reports provided or requesting other complementary reports to expand the elements of analysis, will be the Board of Directors of the Balearic Islands Port Authority.
Therefore, in the hands of the members of the Board of Directors is this great decision about the club and its centenary.
On the other hand, the Ibiza Yacht Club does not share the idea conveyed by the Port Authority to minimize the impact of the possible scenario of not winning the competition and consequently its departure from the facilities it has occupied for 99 years. If the Yacht Club is finally not the winner, the APB will have sealed the end of the Yacht Club, depriving the output to the sea of its sailors. The social and sporting work being done by the Yacht Club will be doomed to disappear.
Therefore, the fight for a social marina in the port of Ibiza and will continue to claim this space with more energy than ever.
