As explained by the councilor of Beaches, Rubén Sousa, this measure responds to "three fundamental objectives: to provide more space for swimmers, to eradicate illegal anchorages, and to regenerate the environment."

Sousa emphasized that, at the beginning of the legislature, this bathing area was in a "state of neglect and was accumulating waste." "Currently, cleaning efforts are almost daily, and both the water and the sand have seen significant improvements," he pointed out.

Lastly, the City Council of Ibiza reminds that all vessels remaining within the buoyed area on Friday, March 14 will be removed.
