The Club de Vela Puerto de Andratx celebrated the sixth race of its Liguilla Dos Estaciones this Sunday, March 16.

The weak southeast breeze set a downwind course of 14.6 nautical miles for the larger class and 8 for the smaller one. An exciting and lively first start was followed by another, with the wind occasionally freshening slightly, showing hints of turning south and posing a very tactical beat in the first legs. However, a significant shift to a gentle southwest wind transformed the race into a fast round trip.
“Lullaby,” the impressive Swan 58 owned by Miguel Rojo, crossed the finish line first in real time, while in corrected time, the victory in the ORC 0-4 class went to “Just the Job” owned by Scott Beattie, followed by “Jolie Voile” and the English boat “Kine”. In class 5, “Tentol,” owned by Pau Herrera, prevailed over “Calm Days” and “Just4Fun”.
After completing this race, “Just the Job” continues to lead the overall standings in the ORC 0-4 class, and “Tentol” leads in the ORC 5 class. The crews will meet again in Andratx on the next April 12 and 13 for one of the club's more prominent races, the Trofeo Presidente.
