"It was a very fun regatta and I really enjoyed sailing with Neus, Xisco and Miki, a spectacular team. There was a lot of tension on the water. I'm not used to sailing with people and it feels strange, but doing something different and getting out of my comfort zone has been a great pleasure and I'm very happy with the experience. I really enjoyed it", said Nacho Baltasar, Olympic sailor of the CNR. "It was also a fantastic opportunity to sail again in the club and to do it in the waters of Sa Ràpita, which is a different experience to what we are used to", added Neus Ballester, international sailor of the CNR.
Among the participating boats, in addition to those from the CNR, there was a significant number from the Club Nàutic Arenal (CNA), moored at the club since last week, taking advantage of their participation in the first round of the S'Arenal-Sa Rapita-S'Arenal Trophy, which this Sunday will celebrate its second and final stage, consisting of the return to the CNA. In addition to competing in the Trofeo Vinos J.L. Ferrer, they were also able to participate last Sunday in the President Trophy at the CNR, thus enjoying two intense and different sailing weekends. In this XX Trofeo Vinos J.L. Ferrer there are also boats from the CN Porto Colom, RCN Puerto Pollença, RCN Palma, CN S'Estanyol, CV Santa Ponça and CMSAP Can Pastilla.
The regatta started 40 minutes late due to the fact that the wind has been slow in the framework of the anticyclone that has persisted in our islands for the last two weeks. In addition, there was a slight change in the course compared to the one in the sailing instructions due to the constant wind shifts. The fleet set off at 11:38 a.m. with little wind but heading straight for the island of Corberana, from there to the first of the islands of the Cabrera archipelago, Isla Horadada, and finally back to Sa Ràpita," explains Carlos Esteller, head of Cruising at the CNR.
The first to cross the finish line in real time of the XX Trofeo Vinos J.L. Ferrer was Kyo V, who arrived at 15:08:58. In the general classification of RI from 0 to 3, the podium is formed by Nidea 2, Escuela de Vela and Glòria Primera. In category 4, the winner was Celeste di Mare, followed by Bonaventura and Cartujano. In ORC 0-2, the winners were Mestral Fast, Kyo V and Morfeo. In the 3-4 category, Micanga, Dumia and Mara.

The owners of each of the participating boats received a gift from the sponsor, Bodegas José L. Ferrer, consisting of a pack of three bottles of wine: red, rosé and white. "It is a great pride for us to celebrate these 20 years with thirty boats in the waters of Sa Ràpita. Although we have sponsored several events throughout our history, this is the first time we are celebrating our 20th sporting anniversary. We would especially like to thank the CNR and the participants in the regatta," said Pep Lluís Roses, from Bodegas José L. Ferrer.
After the regatta, the participants were able to enjoy a twinning dinner between shipowners and crews, where they were able to taste tapas and specialities from the CNR Restaurant, washed down with wines and cavas from Bodegas José L. Ferrer.
