The management of the bar and restaurant will be improved by optimizing spaces, opening the venue towards the pool and the sea, expanding the bar, incorporating the bathrooms into the social area, and setting up a multifunctional room. Energy savings will also be achieved by replacing the climate control units with more modern and efficient ones.

The remodeling works of the club's restaurant will last until early December and will affect the entire social venue of the CNA, even reaching the hall and the public service area of the offices.
"Since the venue was inaugurated in 1981, there had never been a rethinking of the interior layout and, after 40 years, there were elements that needed intervention, such as the climate control machines or the marble flooring, which were visibly outdated," explains Ferran Muniesa, manager of the CNA. "Given that we still have 22 years of concession left, we thought it was the ideal time to undertake comprehensive works that allow us to update the facilities to enjoy them for the coming years," he adds.
"Firstly, we will improve the management of the bar and restaurant, optimizing spaces so that the waiters can serve more efficiently on the terrace, as we will open the venue towards the pool and the sea, and we will also expand the bar. At the same time, we will bring the bathrooms closer to the social venue, incorporating a bathroom for people with reduced mobility and also setting up a multifunctional room for classes, workshops, meetings, etc. And, of course, we will gain in energy and environmental efficiency by changing the climate control machines for more modern ones with lower consumption," he specifies.
"We have been planning the project since January and conducting site visits and weekly meetings with technicians and suppliers to have everything ready and be able to do all the work in just 8 or 9 weeks," says Muniesa, who indicates that the cafeteria service, in the area adjacent to the pool, remains available during the month of October.
"We know that all this causes inconvenience for the members, due to the noise, dust, and the temporary relocation of the offices, but we firmly believe that these works are essential to update the heart of the club and improve the service and comfort of the member," assures Muniesa, who is very positive about the decision taken a decade ago by the club to directly manage the bar and cafeteria. "It's a space that the member feels as their own, with a restaurant focused on the enjoyment of the club people and where many more social events can take place, all those that we want to promote. In this decade, this space has become very lively and the members feel at home," assures the CNA manager, who anticipates that, with its reopening at the doorstep of the holiday season, a renewed menu will be presented.
